Independent Depression

I'm rather new to this blog thing. One thing I did not realize is that all new stuff shows up on top. So if I'm trying to write things in order you may not get to read them that way. My apologies. I had no idea I had so many things to say.

Laura's Top 101+ Tunes of the day

I notice that Dagmar, Melanie and I share some faves. Let me know if there’s something that *you like on my list. What would be cool is if I could figure out to link each of these to it’s own MP3. Hmmm. Any suggestions?

Some of these I love simply for the bass riffs, some for the lyrics, some for both. These are in no particular order. There are some that are not listed, simply because my CDs or cassettes are home copies and unmarked, for example my favorite album which has Tool on one side and Beastie Boys on the other, also had the distinction of being the single piece of music in my vehicle for over 2 years. When I like something I tend to listen to it repeatedly to see if it will stand the test of time. All songs below have done so.

You’ll also notice there are more than 100 on this list... sometimes I just can’t make up my mind! I wonder what this compilation says about me.... opinions welcome.
